SYSTEM 75 AL - ALUMINIUM
The hoods for aluminium extraction arms are available in three different materials: transparent PETG and anodized or powder coated aluminium. The coloured plastic parts are made of polypropylene (PP). The transparent PETG hoods are resistant to most allround cleaning detergents. The hoods can be used together with the System 75 AL extraction arms in working environments with no special requirement for conductivity or chemical resistance.

SYSTEM 75 AS - ANTISTATIC
It is important to choose an antistatic hood if you have chosen an antistatic extraction arm in order to maintain the conductivity. This is particularly important, if the System 75 AS extraction arm is to be mounted in an ESD area or an EX area (ATEX). The antistatic hoods are made of chromated (TCP) aluminium or conductive polypropylene (PP) depending on the chosen model.

SYSTEM 75 PP - CHEMICAL RESTISTANT
The hoods for system 75 PP are available in two materials: chemical resistant polypropylene (PP) or powder coated aluminium. The four hoods in 100% PP are resistant to various chemicals and are therefore applicable in most aggressive working environments. The metal hood Ø200 is made of powder coated aluminium. The chemical resistant hoods together with the System 75 PP extraction arms are applicable in chemical aggressive working environments. Square hoods, round hoods, and flat hoods are also available  i transparent PETG with PP-stub (se article nos. with* above).
COLOURS
In Systems 75 AL and PP it is possible to choose the colour of the hood flange. There are two standard colours: red and white.
The colour code is added to the basic article number as -4 or -5.

OPTIMAL POSITION OF THE HOOD
Under Optimal position of the hood you will find an explanation in greater detail of how to position the hood considering source and type of pollution.
