Alsident® System 100 - for air volumes between 140 - 400 m3/h and in diameter Ø100.

System 100 is applicable in trades with large pollution sources and large amounts of pollution, such as laboratories, hospitals, chemical industries, pharmaceutical industries as well as food industries, universities and machine shops.

In System 100 PP (chemical resistant), both joint and pipes are made of very resistant polypropylene (PP) and is therefore very suitable for use in aggressive working environments using strong chemicals.

System 100 Antistatic is approved for use in both explosive EX-areas (ATEX) and in ESD-areas.

ESD and EX approvals

Alsident® System 100 Antistatic is approved for use in EX areas (ATEX areas) according to standards EN 13463-1:2001 paragraph 13.3.4.7 and IEC 61340-4-1:2003 and are marked accordingly: EX II 1 GD
System 100 Antistatic is also approved for use in ESD areas by both the Danish DELTA and the German BAM according to IEC 61340-5-1 and IEC 61340-4-1.
Therefore, System 100 Antistatic extraction arms are supplied with an earthing wire for EX areas. For ESD areas, an earthing wire with 1MW resistance is also enclosed separately. You will find further information in the test reports and the mounting instructions.
In ATEX areas we recommend brackets made of acid proof stainless steel, which is considered spark free and therefore in compliance with EN 1127-1 5.3 'Mechanically generated sparks'.
Please note that the end user is liable for making the risk assessment of the entire installation.
Alsident System A/S also recommends the earthing of the extraction arm to be carried out by personnel experienced in EX areas.

Working ranges

An internal spring carries the short Alsident® System 100 arms, whereas the long models are carried by 1 or 2 external gas springs. This gives system 100 a maximum working range of 2630 mm.
System 100 extraction arms are prepared for a quick installation with standard brackets for tablewall or ceiling. With the wide range of hoods, it is therefore possible to choose the best extraction arm for your individual work station.

An extraction arm from Alsident® System is built of 3 basic elements: an extraction arm, a bracket and a hood. Select each basic unit to obtain a set.
